La's-eek Signs MOU with Deep Plant to Provide Personalized Healthy Meal Plans

La's-eek (CEO Yoo Dong-il), the company that services the personalized food solution COOKSUP, announced on the 15th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the deep-aged meat specialist company Deep Plant (CEO Kim Cheol-beom) on the 14th.
This MOU strengthens the partnership between La's-eek and Deep Plant and aims to provide consumers with a more diverse range of personalized meal plans by using various deep-aged meat products from Deep Plant in La's-eek's healthy personalized meal service.
Deep Plant is a technology-based food-tech company that pursues the complete consumption of meat. Its core technology is an eco-friendly 'Deep Aging' system that initially activates the meat's protein-degrading enzymes, resulting in a more than two-fold improvement in tenderness and taste compared to regularly aged meat. The company also uses artificial intelligence to upgrade previously low-grade, non-preferred cuts, developing high-value-added meat products.
A La's-eek official stated, "Through this agreement, we expect to be able to offer customized meal plans featuring a wider variety of meat cuts at reasonable prices by applying high-quality meat products supplied by Deep Plant to the demand-based personalized meal plan program provided by our personalized food solution, 'COOKSUP'."
A "demand-based personalized meal plan program" refers to a program where meal plans are not unilaterally set by the supplier but are customized and adjusted according to consumer choices and overall demand. The meal plans are automatically configured through the data-based recipe generation system provided by 'COOKSUP'.
Meanwhile, La's-eek's food solution, 'COOKSUP', is a next-generation food solution capable of responding to the demand for personalization and customized food required in the health & wellness market, a core component of the future food industry. It provides an integrated system including a personalization app, automated recipe building, and production support and management systems to enable individuals and businesses to access the future food market.
