'BiiG WAVE' is an investment attraction platform based on the 'Incheon BiiG WAVE Mother Fund,' the first of its kind established by a local government in Korea, created by Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Center. To provide practical help for startups in securing investment, the program offers various scale-up support, including corporate diagnostics, pitch coaching, investor meetings, and financial/accounting consulting, culminating in the IR event. From 2021 to 2023, it has nurtured 59 companies, with another 15 selected and fostered this year. Every year, BiiG WAVE selects promising startups nationwide, supporting their investment attraction and network expansion with follow-up assistance.

At this IR, the newly upgraded BiiG WAVE 2.0 was officially announced. This includes the strategic advancement of the existing program, the investment-focused 'BiiG WAVE Private IR,' and 'BiiG WAVE Global' to support scale-ups through global investment, establishing a structured process for each stage of a startup's investment growth.

Director Lee Han-seop stated, "Marking its fourth year, BiiG WAVE continues its efforts to discover innovative startups in Korea. We plan to utilize our diverse domestic and international networks to support our promising startups so they can achieve scale-ups through global expansion."

Over the past three years, the Incheon Center has discovered 59 companies through BiiG WAVE, resulting in 129.1 billion won in attracted investment.
