[Prime Economy] IBK Changgong (創工), the startup incubation platform of the Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK), announced on the 21st that it has held the 'IBK Changgong Food-Tech & Agri-Tech Networking Day'.

The event, held at the IBK Changgong Guro Center, was designed to enhance the capabilities of innovative food-tech and agri-tech startups. It consisted of a special lecture by an agri-food expert, a panel discussion, and a networking session. Around 30 industry professionals, including representatives from startups, large corporations, venture capital firms, and government agencies, were in attendance.
The special lecture was given by Song Jin-ho, Vice President of Magna Investment, on the topic of 'Venture Investment in Agri-Food and Food-Tech,' where he shared insights on the agri-food and food-tech industries and the current startup investment landscape.
Following the lecture, a panel discussion was held with panelists △Seo Eun-jeong, Team Leader at GS Retail △Song Jin-ho, Vice President of Magna Investment, and △Eom In-yong, Center Director at the Korea Agriculture Technology Promotion Agency (KOAT). They covered various topics, including open innovation with large corporations and strategies for utilizing government support programs for startups in the agri-food and food-tech sectors.
Kim Cheol-beom, CEO of Deep Plant, who participated in the event, shared his thoughts, stating, "It was beneficial to meet various leaders of the food-tech and agri-tech ecosystem in one place. I will actively leverage this network to discover new business models and continue active collaborations in the future."
