'Deep Plant' Among 10 Companies Selected for '2023 Global Investment-type Accelerating Program'

The companies participating in the '2023 Global Accelerating Program,' led by the Korea Agriculture Technology Promotion Agency (KOAT), have been confirmed.
From a pool of 110 startups nationwide, 10 companies, including Deep Plant with its 'Deep Aging' technology, were selected for the Singapore investment-type program. The selected companies will undergo four weeks of training in Korea before splitting into groups for Singapore, Europe, and North America to participate in a six-week local accelerating program.
As part of its strategy to enter the Southeast Asian market, Deep Plant plans to conduct market research and formulate an entry strategy with a consortium of Singaporean accelerators, Innovate 360 and Awesome Ventures. Additionally, the company will participate in the Singapore International Agri-Food Week (SIAW), Asia's largest agri-food exhibition, to announce its corporate goals and technology to the market through a demo day.
Deep Plant's goal is to use its patented 'Deep Aging' technology to improve the imbalanced consumption structure of meat, recreating less popular, low-fat protein cuts into delicious meat to develop and produce meat distribution and processed products.
Regarding the program, Deep Plant's Global General Director, Choi Jae-ha, revealed his plan, stating, "Through Deep Aging technology, we will promote the 'complete consumption' of livestock products, creating a positive impact on the global environment and presenting a new paradigm for the livestock industry." He also shared his ambition, "Starting with Southeast Asia, we will expand to the Americas and Europe, contributing to environmental protection through the complete consumption of healthy and delicious meat."
