Coussion and Deep Plant Sign MOU for Meat Robot Business Cooperation

<On the 3rd, Coussion Inc. (CEO Lee Min-seok) and Deep Plant Inc. (CEO Kim Cheol-beom) signed a business agreement for the development of smart robots.>

Coussion Inc., a smart factory and cooking robot solution company, and Deep Plant Inc., an artificial intelligence-based deep-aged meat company, announced on the 8th that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to develop smart robots specialized in data-driven meat processing and cooking.

The two companies pushed forward with the agreement after sharing the view that there is a need to combine rapidly advancing AI technology with collaborative robot technology to develop robots and related solutions for slaughter, deboning, processing, and cooking, all based on meat data.

Through this business agreement, Deep Plant will provide Coussion with the basic data and methods necessary for slaughter and deboning. Based on the provided data and its own AI vision and collaborative robot technology, Coussion will pursue the development of an AI-based automated meat deboning system and cooking robots that can fry meat or cook steaks.

The robot solutions developed through this agreement are expected to contribute to increasing meat production efficiency and providing high-quality cooked meat products by replacing complex and dangerous meat processing and cooking tasks with robots.

Furthermore, the two companies agreed that their goal is not merely to replace mechanical tasks with collaborative robots, but to minimize human casualties from industrial accidents by replacing complex and dangerous jobs with robots integrated with AI vision technology. They have decided to prioritize their product development focus accordingly.

Coussion is a venture company that specializes in developing robot applications based on products like collaborative robots and AMRs. It has developed various smart factory solutions and has recently been focusing on its cooking robot business after developing 'gomcook,' a robot platform that supports personalized and customized cooking, signing supply contracts with companies like Ikseon Group 121, Bogate, and Ace Robotech.

Deep Plant is a company that increases the value of meat through AI analysis based on meat data. It is innovating in the complete consumption of meat and the automation of production processes through its development of a meat deep-aging system, and is also bringing innovation to meat processing and services through its AI solutions.
