A Contest for Ventures and Startups... 10 Companies Selected at 'Goyang IR Day'
The final 10 companies were selected at the '2023 First Half Goyang IR Day' held at the Ilsandong-gu Office in Goyang Special City. 'Goyang IR Day' is an event organized by Goyang City to provide various opportunities and support for fostering startups.
According to the city on the 26th, the event was filled with various activities, including investment-linked IR presentation evaluations, networking among officials, promotional booths for companies and support organizations, and counseling booths for startups and jobs.
Starting with applications from 59 companies this past March, the city conducted document screening and intermediate evaluations to select the final 10 companies.
The 10 selected companies received support through programs to strengthen their pitching capabilities, including investment attraction training and 1:1 in-depth mentoring from experts in each field. Through Goyang IR Day, they had the opportunity to present for investment evaluation to venture capitalists and engage in consultations and corporate exchanges. The city plans to provide follow-up management, such as customized investment consulting, for the startups even after the event.

WeNew Inc. (Healthcare medical knowledge service)
Let's Go Pick Stars Inc. (AI-based mobility safety management service)
Cassis Co., Ltd. (Integrated room sales management platform for travel agencies)
A-Pharma Inc. (Metabolic disease diagnosis and small molecule drug development)
The Bio Inc. (Functional LED lighting with air purification)
MomenComm Space Co., Ltd. (Nanosatellite-related services)
The following companies were honored with awards:
Innovation Award: Salix Co., Ltd. (Emergency escape oxygen breathing technology)
Development Award: Project Cheoeum (Sloped strawberry cultivator and seedling supply)
Growth Award: Deep Plant Co., Ltd. (Meat deep aging artificial intelligence system)
A city official stated, "Goyang IR Day is a venue for discovering excellent startups and venture companies, and for investors, entrepreneurs, and startup organizations to gather and exchange information." He added, "We will continue to do our best to grow into a city that leads startup culture in cooperation with the startup support council."
